This 6-day self-drive safari covers two of Uganda’s most iconic national parks: Murchison Falls and Queen Elizabeth. From the thunderous falls of the Nile to the tree-climbing lions of Ishasha, this tour delivers the best of Uganda’s wildlife in one journey.
Days 1-2: Murchison Falls
Drive from Kampala to Murchison Falls. Enjoy an afternoon game drive on the northern bank, followed by a boat cruise to the base of the falls on day 2. Hike to the top for panoramic views. Overnight at a lodge near the park.
Day 3: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth
Drive south through the Rift Valley to Queen Elizabeth National Park. The journey takes approximately 6 hours through scenic landscapes and traditional villages. Evening game drive on arrival.
Days 4-5: Queen Elizabeth Exploration
Full-day game drives in the Kasenyi Plains and a boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel. On day 5, drive to the Ishasha sector to track the famous tree-climbing lions. Return to your lodge for dinner.
Day 6: Return to Kampala
Morning game drive, then depart for Kampala. Stop at the Equator for lunch and photos. Arrive in Kampala by evening.
